
The new Cyber-shot TX5 is mentioned as the world’s thinnest and smallest waterproof digital still camera at just 17.7mm slim. Available in five stunning colours (black, silver, pink, green, red), the TX5 features Intelligent Sweep Panorama for smooth panoramic images even with moving subjects, a 10.2 effective megapixels Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor, a 4x optical zoom with 25mm wide angle and 720p HD movie shooting, and a 7.5cm (3”) wide Clear Photo LCD touchscreen.

Offered in Japan, the Sony Snowflake DSC-TX1 Cyber-Shot digital camera comes with interesting graphic addition that’s inspired by the beautiful mosaic of snowflake patterns. The DSC-TX1 features 10.2MP sensor, a 3-inch touch screen, 4x optical zoom, Carl Ziess lens, low-light photography support, 10fps burst mode and a 180 degree sweep panorama mode. Available colors: Silver, Black and Pink. The pictures you take with this can be printed into great color photo’s that don’t use up to much printer ink if printing from home.

The new Sony DSC-T900 camera boasts new technology called iSCN (Intelligent scene recognition) that allows users to take the best pictures without changing settings. The technology is capable of detecting up to eight scenes, recognizing objects, faces and lighting conditions. Then, in one-thirtieth of a second, it changes the setting to get the best shot. The T900 will be available for purchase in April, but you can start to place a pre-order next month at www.sonystyle.com for about $380.
Two new fashionable and compact camera just introduced by Sony, DSC-T700 & DSC-T77. The T700 comes with 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen and 4GB built-in memory. Available in Red Champagne gold, Pink, Dark, Gray and Silver, the T700 is priced at 260 euros. Regarding T77, this camera comes with lower price, smaller screen, and smaller memory. Its known features include 10 MP CCD sensor, 4x optical zoom, and up to ISO 3200 sensitivity.

After long waiting since its introduction back in January, finally Sony A300 DSLR camera will be released in Japan this month. This camera sports 10.2Mpix CCD sensor, Sony own BIONZ® processing engine, up to ISO 3200 of sensitivity, and 30 – 1/4000 sec of shutter speed. The A300 also equipped with 2.7-inch LCD screen and support both Memory Stick Duo Pro and Compact Flash.

Sony displayed its new baby, the 25 megapixel Alpha DSLR-A900 camera during the Photo Imaging Expo (PIE) 2008. And the company mentioned that the camera will hit retail markets starting in August/September during the IFA/Photokina events. Thats all for now, we will post additional information later on.
